Edi Rama on the EUs problematic handling of promises, “Waiting for Godot”, Albanian products and The Constitutional Court in action.

The Letter From The Consulate

No. 160.
Gentofte/Copenhagen, Friday 14 May 2021

Dear reader,

Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama was on May 10 interviewed about Albania and the EU. You can follow the interesting interview by clicking here.

Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama recently cannot get “Waiting for Godot” (1952), by Samuel Beckett, out of his head. And rightly so.
“Why do I think so often nowadays about Samuel Beckett’s masterpiece while following the statements about Albania and Northern Macedonia? Any resemblance to real events or people, alive or dead, is certainly coincidental,” Rama wrote.
